Bangladesh name squad for Australia series, Disha Biswas and Habiba Islam earn maiden ODI call-ups

Bangladesh has chosen a sixteen-player squad for their maiden bilateral fifty-over tour against Australia. Nigar Sultana Joty will lead the visiting side, with Nahida Akter serving as her deputy for the upcoming fixtures.

Fresh additions Disha Biswas and Habiba Islam Pinky have received their initial ODI call-ups, alongside returning players Murshida Khatun and Dilara Akter. All three matches of the series are scheduled to take place at Allan Border Field in Brisbane during October 2026.
