During the second day of the Irani Cup fixture, Jammu & Kashmir captain Paras Dogra anchored his side with a resilient 75 runs from 143 deliveries. He found solid support through a century partnership with Abdul Samad, who contributed 57, followed by a stabilizing 64-run knock from Lone Nasir Muzaffar.
By stumps, Rest of India trailed by 17 runs after earlier bowling heroics spearheaded by Mukesh Choudhary, whose impressive five-wicket haul restricted the hosts.
Choudhary finished his spell claiming five wickets for 78 runs, removing key batters including Qamran Iqbal, Shubham Pundir, Shubham Khajuria, Paras Dogra, and Kanhaiya Wadhawan. He was aided by Akash Deep and Mukesh Kumar, who claimed three and two wickets respectively to keep the batting side under sustained pressure.
